Text Tutorial: How to Install, Setup and Use FamiGuard Monisen

Part 1: Create One Account and Choose A Well-suited Plan

Click the Sign In/Up button to register for a FamiGuard Monisen account with your valid email address. Then, you need to purchase a subscription plan to use all advanced monitoring features. You can choose a 1-month plan, 3-month plan, 1-year plan, or a Team plan.

Part 2: Download FamiGuard Monisen and Set it Up

After purchasing Famiguard Monisen successfully, you will be navigated to the Member Center. Here you can check and manage the corresponding order you created earlier. Next, you should click the Try Now button and follow the instructions carefully to complete some configurations on the target device.

2.1 Download FamiGuard Monisen on the target Windows device. Please navigate to the website at https://ms.famiguardapp.com in any browser to access the download package.

If it shows Windows protected your PC, click More info then Run anyway to continue installation.

2.2 Then, follow the instructions to finish the configuration. To make Monisen run successfully, adding Monisen to anti-virus software is necessary. Here are the steps,

Step 1: Be clear that where is the Monisen installed: C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Assistant App. The full file name is: Monisen.exe

Step 2: You need to paste the full file installation path or temporarily allow viewing of hidden folders in Windows File Explorer, and manually select the folders from inside the antivirus app. Add the MS folder under the installation path or the given complete file name to whitelist, depending on the requirements of different antivirus software.

2.3 Optional choice: Install the browser extension to monitor web mail and live chat messages on the target computer.

To monitor exchanged emails, installing this extension can track email accounts like Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo Mail. This also applies to online chat sites such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Skype, etc. Here are the detailed steps for easy setup.

Step 1: Go to Chrome Extentions - Manage Extensions.

Step 2: Turn on Developer mode by clicking the slider button.

Step 3: Click Load unpacked then go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Assistant App\MS\extension and selet moni-chrome-extension folder.

Step 4: This Extension is installed on your computer now, then turn off the Developer mode to complete the process.

Part 3: Start Monitoring the Target PC

After installing, the program will hide on the target computer and work in the background. Then, visit the FamiGuard's official website, log in, and check if your account is successfully linked. From Member Center, click Try Now to view all recorded data.

Please be aware that the first sync may take some time, and no data uploads when the target computer is idle.
